well, long time no blog...i kinda knew that would happen, i'm not very big on writing...but i have no 8th graders today, so i'll take advantage of this extra 45 minutes in my day to catch up! be prepared for randomness and lots of subject changes!!

so i'm down almost 15 lbs thanks to the "lifestyle change"! I've lost more that 12 inches so far, and i can finally tell where i've lost the weight...i've hit a plateau recently, which they expect every 6-9 weeks or so, so i'm doing a "plateau breaker" week...which means grapefruit 3 times a day (yuck!), lots of salad and lots of protein...and zero carbs or fruit that i like...sadness...but it will be worth it! i'm a lot happier and have more energy...it's a nice feeling.

I've been working out 5 times a week for a few weeks now, which is awesome! I meet em on tuesdays and thursdays so we can keep each other on track. Also, my long lost friend kim just moved back in town so she meets up with me for classes on wednesdays and joins me and em on thursdays as well. i really love turbo kick and the teacher, stacie, is so awesome at keeping you pupmed up so that you'll push yourself even when you think you're too tired. we also do body pump once a week and my muscles are starting to look like actual muscles! good times!

like i said earlier, kimmie is back in town after being in london for 5+ years. I've known her since...kindergarten? so it's cool to get back in touch and hang out with someone who knows so much of your history! i love it!

i ordered my bridesmaid dress for larissa's wedding last week...i'm hoping that if i lose the weight i want to, it won't be too big of a deal for the alterations...i know they like to get the closest size possible to work with, but it's so far in advance...how can a person not change, even a little? at least they won't have to make it bigger! I hope anyways...eeek...that would be terrible!

jodi is home from australia, and we are having a welcome home party on friday...i just can't wait to see that girl!! and speaking of australia, little brookie northfield is there now for a sememster abroad...goodness...it just makes me want to go right now! i really should just move there, but my hubby probably wouldn't like that too much :) he'd say if we're leaving the country, it'll be to brazil. but, not really a fan...probably because i can't understand most of what is going on around me...hopefully that will get better in the future!

i've been completely addicted to the olympics! they are just so interesting and fun to watch! there are great back stories with the athletes, and when someone wins who truly deserves it...it's just an amazing feeling to watch and i can't imagine what it would be like to compete! only a few days left, and then i can get back to my "normal" life...maybe then i'll be able to get my knitting and reading in...we'll see ;)
